Praise and Powerful Worship
[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”40px”][vc_column_text]In 1992 Bob Stamper auditioned and took the position of guitarist in the back up ensemble for the first Start Search TV program winner, Tony Ford. He went on the road for several months and performed rock-a-billy hits all over the eastern United States while completing his high school education via “home school”. He performed on one of the Gaylord Stages in Oklahoma City with local recording artist and entertainer, Jackie Haney. He also performed with Clyde Persol of the 60’s recording group, “The Vogues”.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Bob returned to Kentucky and finished the second half of his senior year at GRC and started playing a house gig with recording artist Darren Dixon, original saxophone player for John Michael Montgomery. Shortly thereafter he began working part time as a recording engineer in his studio. There he worked with many local and regional recording artists including, Callie Atwood and Ron Harris (guitarist for Gatemouth Brown of Alligator Records).[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Bob also began performing with a local Christian rock group called “Son Daze” and recorded several original songs during that time. Son Daze performed all over central Kentucky at Christian venues including two years performing on the second stage a Ichthus (Christian Music Festival). They opened for several Christian Recording artists including “Audio Adrenaline.”[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Bob Stamper graduated from EKU with his Music degree and continues to write and record music. He plays at Church every Sunday and performs with a Black Gospel group named “Yesha”. He is working on recording a collection of his own music and releasing several songs that he has written to other artists.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Bob served as the Worship Leader at Freedom Worship Center in Somerset Kentucky from 1993 until 1998. He then served on the Worship team at Victory World Outreach Center in Richmond, KY from 1998 until 2015 and then went on to serve as Worship Leader at Real Life Community Church in Richmond, KY from 2015 to present.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/qode_elements_holder_item][/qode_elements_holder][/vc_column][/vc_row]
